**Energy, climate, and policy - this year unfolded less like a roadmap, and more like a spiral.**

In that environment, joy can be easily forgotten. But how could we?

2025 is also a year when AI began to show up not just as acceleration—but as assistance—helping protect nature and sharpening climate insight.

So perhaps that is the reminder.

Because it’s often **joy - not anxiety - that helps us show up as our better selves** and restores the clarity we need to meet the enduring challenges of energy and climate.

As we look toward 2026, **may joy meet you in the moments when you're not looking, not striving, and yet somehow receiving**.
