Insurance evolves as society evolves—and climate risk is one of the next frontiers. A few takeaways from [**AXA](https://www.linkedin.com/company/axa/)** XL Climate Report (issued in 2025, link below )

Highlights physical, transition, and liability risks with a balanced view of both risks and opportunities.

**Why?** Because this approach (rather than focusing only on risk) helps us understand why an insurance company would consider, accept, and even seek risks.

Page 1️⃣8️⃣ **Insurance touchpoints across the Energy Transition Journey**
Provides a big-picture view of various insurance products and where they fit into the lifecycle of a project. This encourages leaders to plan for insurance coverage across the project lifecycle, not by insurance product in silos. 
**Why?** Because risk travels.

Explores how a delayed transition scenario could play out.
