It's interesting to learn that different AI models have different "personalities." And that makes switching hard - not just technically, but organizationally. Something worth thinking about.

At The New York Times DealBook Summit, Anthropic’s CEO (and longtime AI researcher) shared his views: ⚡ The technological curve and the economic curve don’t always move together. While AI capabilities keep improving on the technology side, there are real risks on the economic side. ⚡ Chip depreciation isn’t just about wear and tear — it’s about the pace of new capability. While there’s no universally agreed deprecation schedule, the depreciation directly affects how the economics pencil out. ⚡ The future of jobs may unfold in 3 waves:

  • Near-term: adoption in the private sector — efficiency gains and new value creation
  • Mid-term: redesign through government intervention such as retraining
  • Long-term: restructuring at the level of society itself

While these are opinions and predictions, they are from one of the most informed and consequential people on the planet currently. Worth listening!
