So...why energy?

Because risk management today isn’t only about redlining an insurance exhibit and doing annual renewals (easy) — it’s about understanding the macro energy landscape that shapes everything (hard).

Think of one thing truly consequential to our world’s progress that doesn’t involve energy. 🌍

And why the bigger picture?

When an ice cube melts, we know how to refreeze it. But when the Arctic melts, can we refreeze the whole thing? No.

Over the long term, what happens to all that extra water? So how soon do we want to think about adaptation to a climate that is wetter, warmer, and much wilder?

Sea change indeed.
